Nigeria have a very large Internet users. For such country with large Internet users, emphasis should focus more on how to take advantage of this emerging way of living and turning it into a potential job initiative.
A lot of young Nigerian are already taking advantage of this opportunities and are making a fortune for their selves.
However, more is needed to be done to adequately create or institutionalised online advertisement industries in Nigeria into a platform that can massively create Jobs for the youth. This is where the government action is needed in partnering with local advertsing industries.
Online advertisement is very broad, it is also called Internet advertising, online marketing or web advertising, it is a form of advertising and marketing which uses the Internet to deliver promotional marketing messages to consumers through social media marketing, email marketing, search engine marketing etc.
With growing Internet users, Nigeria need to take cue from Google and facebook by partnering with local expert to establish online advertisement firm and take advantage of the growing Internet users in Nigeria to create job for the youth.
In addition to this, government can also partner with expert to create a local blogging engine like blogger or wordpress and intergrate both the online advert platform with the blogging engine for publishers in Nigeria to earn income.
This are some of the ways jobs can be created online in Nigeria to adequately engage the youth
