The daughter of Moshood Abiola, Wura Abiola hailed President Buhari for acknowledging her Father.
She wrote:

Yesterday the 6th of June 2018, President Buhari stated on his twitter handle that he has decided to award posthumously the highest Honour in the land, GCFR, to the late Chief MKO Abiola and also announce that, after due consultations, the Federal Govt has decided that henceforth, June 12 will be celebrated as Democracy Day.
