The Goodluck Jonathan's government youth development programs that Buhari govt should not ignored

The GEJ Government create some youth development programs that were intended to engaged Nigeria youth by helping them acquire the necessary skills and experience to be employable or prepared them to become enterprenuers.

Some of this program where hijack and diverted from the original purpose they are designed for by politicians and the people in the head of affairs.

The Buhari government should look into this programs, redesign them appoint visionable leaders that can move this programs forward in other to achieve the desired objective.

Such programs are as followed:
*Graduate Internship Scheme (GIS)
1.The Graduate Internship Scheme (GIS) commenced in October, 2012 as a social safety net component of Subsidy Reinvestment and Empowerment Programme (SURE-P). It is implemented by the Federal Ministry of Finance with a mandate to provide short term employment for graduates.

2. The Scheme aims to achieve this by creating opportunity for them to be attached to firms /organizations, where they can work for a year and enjoy a monthly stipend of N18,000. Such interns can use the opportunity to gain working experience and enhance their employability.

*Youth Enterprise with Innovation in Nigeria(YouWIN)
YouWiN! stands for Youth Enterprise with Innovation in Nigeria. It is an innovative business plan competition aimed at job creation by encouraging and supporting aspiring entrepreneurial youth in Nigeria to develop and execute business ideas.

Buhari government should also put the National Information Technology Development Agency(NITDA) to functions, instead of training few opportunistic people, NITDA should be used In order to establish and develop IT and maximise its use nation wide, NITDA should embark on massive Infrastructural development and human capacity development projects that will massively engaged Nigeria Youth.

The Buhari government should also look into Business process outsourcing(BPO) industries.
Business process outsourcing(BPO) is a subset of outsourcing that involves the contracting of the operations and responsibilities of a specific business process to a third-party service provider. The New government can train Nigeria youth in BPO Field and engage them positively.
