Africa Economy: Nigeria Surpass South Africa As Africa's Biggest Economy Again

The latest 2016 GDP estimates by IMF has affirm Nigeria as the biggest economy in Africa ahead of south Africa and Egypt.

The Latest estimate by the IMF put Nigeria 2016 GDP at $415.08B. While the South Africa GDP for October 2016 is $280.3B. However, the 3rd biggest economy Egypt 2016 data was reported not available and that of Algeria GDP for 2016 was put at $168.31B

In August 2016 Nigeria was reported to have lost his place as the biggest economy to south Africa following the recalculation of the country gross domestic product but the latest estimate by IMF affirm Nigeria as the biggest economy in Africa right now
