FG Introduces National E-Agriculture Web Portal (NEAWP)

Federal government Launched the National E-Agricultural web portal (NEAWP) to assist achieve the diversification of the government, the web portal which was launched yesterday 11 October 2016 is a strategic initiative of the National Information technology development Agency (NITDA) in collaboration with the Federal Ministry of Agriculture and Rural development (FMARD) to showcase the essential features and key aspects of the food and agriculture industry in Nigeria

The portal aims to highlight the strategic and operational components of the ICT driven Agricultural Value chain in Nigeria especially as it relates to the Green Alternative policy of president Muhammadu buhari which is being implemented by the federal Ministry of Agriculture and rural development.

The Agricultural web portal will intergrate all existing and future agriculture platforms and mobile applications to create a one stop National e-agriculture presence.
