President Buhari may officially launch new energy and environment bond at the Nigeria stock exchange in December. Source says bond size is $60M to $70MN and may also list on FMDO OTC securities exchange and another international exchange.
PDP Party Chairmanship
The leadership of the peoples democratic party has pledge to hold a peaceful convention come December and to support any candidate that emerges as the party' chairman. This assurance was given by party leaders after a closed door meeting held in Enugu state attended by PDP governors from across the country.
Army shooting
Military authorities have begun investigating issue involving a army captain and a non commissioned officer deployed in chibox Borno State. According to the army spokesmen Brig. Gen. Sani Usman the captain and his team were dispatched to pacify the rampaging staff sergeant when he opened fire killing his superior and then shooting himself dead.
Adamawa Attack
Suspected herdsmen have invaded koh community in Adamawa state killing a sixty year old retired civil servant. According to residents, the were at a church service when the invaders struck shooting sporadically and causing the people to flee.
